Remember – a good set of volume tweezers will work, but they are not “magic”. As such, they still require skill, precision and a lot of practice with them away from the client, to understand how to correctly work with them and find that tweezers sweet spot.
Each tweezer is personally hand tested by Frankie to ensure they work, many fail but only those that meet her high standards make it to the shop.
The thinner the extension becomes – (0.05,0.04,0.03) and the bigger the fan you wish to create, the more precise your tweezers need to be. For the finer eyelash extension, Frankie’s hand tested Dumont tweezers are recommended due to their precision tips, higher quality metal and production process.
Creation of the perfect fan also requires the technician to hold their volume tweezers correctly and close the tweezer rather than twist. Twisting of the tweezers will cause fans to twist and split (many techs are unaware that they are doing this)
Please watch Frankie’s video that demonstrates how to correctly hold your tweezers.
