Beginner Lash Kit

Our Beginner Lash Kit has been carefully put together to give new lash artists the right lash products, without overwhelming you with unnecessary or advanced products too early on.

This kit is designed to support you through practice, learning, and your first real clients, using products that are reliable, versatile, and suitable for the majority of lash sets you’ll perform as a beginner.

Lash Selection – Why Clover & YY Lashes?

We’ve included YY lashes and Clover lashes because they are some of the most beginner-friendly and versatile lashes available.

These lash types:

• Create instant density without complex fanning
  
• Are forgiving if placement isn’t perfect (which is exactly what beginners need)
  
• Suit almost every client type

As your skills develop, you may choose to explore different lash styles and thicknesses, but YY and Clover lashes will continue to serve you well long-term, even as an experienced artist. That’s why we’ve chosen them for this kit.

Please note:

Our Clover lashes are only available in 0.05mm thickness, which is why this kit includes 0.05mm Clovers only, whereas our YY lashes are available in both 0.05mm and 0.07mm thickness.

Adhesives – Important (Please Read)

This kit includes Onyx adhesive as well as Supersonic adhesive samples, and they are intended for different purposes.

• Onyx Adhesive
  This is a slower setting adhesive, making it ideal for beginners working on real clients. The slower cure time provides beginners extra time to attach the extension before the adhesive cures. However this adhesive still has a superb magnetic grab and long hold.
  
• Supersonic Adhesive (Sample Sizes)
  Mannequin heads are plastic and do not produce heat or moisture, which means slow adhesives simply won’t cure correctly.
  For this reason, we’ve included Supersonic, a fast-curing adhesive, specifically for beginners to practice on a mannequin head with only.

Important:
Onyx is too slow for mannequin practice. Supersonic should not be used at this stage on real clients by beginners, it is too fast for you.

Including both allows you to practise correctly and work safely once you move onto models and clients.
